Precautions for Universal Joint Bearings

What are the precautions for the use of universal joint bearings?

(1) When disassembling, transferring, and stocking, bumps and piles must be prevented;

(2) The inertia of the vehicle should not be used to start the engine to prevent impact;

(3) Prevent the clutch pedal from lifting suddenly, and shift gears smoothly;

(4) When the vehicle is braked, try to ensure that the transmission is in neutral or the clutch is in a separate situation to prevent transmission overload;

(5) Always check the sealing conditions of the center support bearing, cross shaft bearing, and sliding spline, and replace the failed oil seal in time. Lubricating grease is often injected. In order to make the bearings of the universal joint fully smooth, it is necessary to squeeze out the lubricating oil from the oil seal of each bearing. The smooth center support bearing should be extruded and stopped from the vent hole of the front bearing cover;

(6) Always check the connecting bolts that fasten the drive shaft and support various parts;

(7) Always check the diameter of the center support bearing, the axial clearance, the axial clearance of the cross shaft, the cooperation clearance between the cross shaft and the bearing, the bearing and the universal joint fork hole, and the circumferential clearance of the sliding spline pair;

(8) Check whether the transmission shaft is twisted, dented, and whether the balance sheet has fallen;

(9) Check whether the positioning of the engine, rear axle (drive axle) and the central support beam meet the specifications.
